Cosmetic Dentistry is form of dentistry in which the main focus is the esthetic results. The reshaping of a tooth or a number of teeth can dramatically improve a person’s over all appearance & improve ones self-confidence.

Dental veneers could be described as something very similar to false fingernails. Tooth veneers are a very thin shield of ceramic or poly ceramic material placed on the facial surface of a tooth. Dental veneers are a very conservative approach to cosmetic dentistry as the need to reduce or reshape natural tooth structure is minimal, but can have a very dramatic improvement in ones smile.

Dental Implants are metal posts, which are integrated as part of the upper or lower jawbone. This post is fixed in the jaw and rises above the soft tissue ( gums ) in the mouth.

An individual crown or a bridge may be cemented to the portion of the post, which rises above the soft tissue. An individual implant may be used to restore an area where a single tooth is missing, eliminating the need for dental bridges. Multiple dental implants may be used to restore an edentulous area or a series of missing teeth, eliminating the need for partials or dentures.

Tooth Whitening occurs when your dentist prescribes any one of a variety of treatment methods to alter or whiten the color of your teeth.

Tooth Bleaching a prescribed treatment for tooth whitening in which your dentist makes you a custom fit tray designed to hold a chemical which penetrates the dentinal tubules resulting in whiter teeth.

Dental Crowns, commonly referred to as caps, is a procedure that includes the reshaping of an entire tooth reducing it in size by approximately 25%, then covering it with natural appearing, lab fabricated crown. A dental crown can be used to replace a chipped, broken, decayed, mal aligned, or discolored tooth.

Dental Bridges Are used when a patient is missing one or more teeth but still have one healthy tooth to both to the right and the left of the space that is missing teeth. Just as in dental crowns, the teeth to the left and right of the empty space are reshaped, reducing the size of the teeth by 25%. The two shaved teeth act as anchors, or "abutments", as a bridge of new teeth cover the two reshaped teeth and fill the empty space at the same time.
